A former wicket-keeper batsman, Deryck Murray played 62 Test matches for the West Indies between 1963 and 1980. First selected for the West Indies at the age of 20, he would subsequently share a sixth-wicket Test partnership of 250 runs with the legendary West Indies captain and his friend, and Atlantis Honorary Life Member Clive Lloyd in the 1974-75 Test series against India. Deryck Murray’s contribution was 91.
